Troop 349 is a group of about 24 boys, dedicated to the ideals and trials instilled by the Boy Scouts of America. We enjoy a full compliment of troop activities from camping and hiking, to rafting and fun community projects. We work hard to better our troop and ourselves. As a group there is nothing we cannot accomplish with the help of our volunteer leaders and committee members.
There are 5 tightly knit patrols which work together to make sure every event is as fun as the last. We learn hard lessons together, which makes them fun and easy. Helping the younger scouts learn what we have already experienced gives us a great feeling of pride, as does learning from those who went before us.
Troop 349 was chartered in 1924 and has enjoyed a long history of great members and leaders. It was re-chartered in 1989 under the sponsorship of Christ Lutheran Church.
